The advantage of injecting a single large bolus, rather than two or more smaller depots, is that a large globule releases the drug much more slowly. 31 Within muscle cells, fat or oil tends to form a spherical globule. One large globule better protects the drug inside, insulating TU from esterases— enzymes that release testosterone from the pro-drug ester. TU increases testosterone concentration only after it is released from its attached ester. It appears as though the . version will be administered as a 3 ml injection, every 10 weeks. 22,24
Currently taking anastrozole three times a week (1/2 mg per dose) to reduce estradiol, elevated due to twice weekly test injections of T – cypionate. Since starting TRT, I’ve had a real problem sleeping, or more accurately, waking up after about four hours and not being able to return to sleep. My doc doesn’t think it has anything to do with either drug, but I see sleep problems is listed as a possible side effect for the anastrozole. Can I directly substitute the Red pct for the anastrozole and if so, is there any feedback on the effect is has on sleep?
(My T level is 1140, using bi-weekly injections of .2 ml each.)
Tibolone, also known as 7α-methylnoretynodrel, as well as 7α-methyl-17α-ethynyl-19-nor-δ 5(10) -testosterone or as 7α-methyl-17α-ethynylestr-5(10)-en-17β-ol-3-one, is a synthetic estrane steroid and a derivative of testosterone and 19-nortestosterone . It is more specifically a derivative of norethisterone (17α-ethynyl-19-nortestosterone) and is a member of the estrane subgroup of the 19-nortestosterone family of progestins. Tibolone is the 7α-methyl derivative of the progestin noretynodrel (17α-ethynyl-δ 5(10) -19-nortestosterone). Other steroids related to tibolone include the progestin norgesterone (17α-vinyl-δ 5(10) -19-nortestosterone) and the anabolic steroids trestolone (7α-methyl-19-nortestosterone) and mibolerone (7α,17α-dimethyl-19-nortestosterone).
