Today’s human economies are designed with little attention to the residuals of production and consumption. Among the most visible unintended byproducts of the current economic system are environmental problems like air and water pollution and landscape degradation. Nearly all the world’s ecosystems are shrinking to make way for humans and their homes, farms, malls, and factories. WWF’s Living Planet Index, which measures the health of forests, oceans, freshwater, and other natural systems, shows a 35 percent decline in Earth’s ecological health since 1970.
"Has anyone ever had any negative feedback?"
Patrick Sometimes someone will write in saying they did not get faster. We then review how to do the exercises with them to make sure they are doing them properly. Sometimes that helps.
Usually people who have negative feedback have never really tried the program properly themselves or don't understand it.
They may have the idea that the program is to help them get stronger and they think there are better ways to get stronger - which is understandable;
O r else they may teach other methods to get faster and don't want to introduce new techniques that would change what they have been teaching all along - that is to be expected.
Or they may have had some success getting faster using other methods and it makes them feel good to think they have the answers - that can happen too.
Tailor the above recommendations to your personal needs and lifestyle. If you’re a vegetarian drop the bacon and steak, but keep the whey protein and eggs. If you have an injury that prevents you from heavy weightlifting, move as much as you can in the way that you can. There are no studies out there which can tell you exactly what will happen if you do X and Y, but not Z. And I certainly can’t tell you either. Don’t be afraid of self-education – that’s how I learned all this – and embrace the idea of conducting your own experiment and being your own test subject. Incorporate as many of the recommendations above as you’re comfortable with, consult your doctor, and track your results.
